all of my cakes/ foodstuffs are made exclusively by me from my own home kitchen. I am a teacher by profession but following the birth of my son, I reduced my teaching hours to care for him. I will only take one booking per date so I am, as it were, exclusively yours for your event.
I originally took up sugarcraft as a hobby; to get some 'me time' and discovered that I had a natural flair; I have always been very arty, I paint, sculpt and draw as well, having taken A level art so perhaps this helped my rapid progress! (sadly, however, my photography leaves much to be desired!)
I have always been a keen cook and am very experimental. I regularly cater for large family events and always provide a lavish spread!
For hot buffets, I am completely flexible although a few suggestions which always go down well, all available in either carnivorous or veggie varieties (apart from obvious exceptions) are: lasagne, chilli, curry, hot&sticky spare ribs, beef bourginon with roquefort dumplings (good for a more classy 'do') stroganoff, wings 'n' wedges, coq au vin and many more!
To whet your appetite for all things nibbly, try the brie and cranberry filo parcels, the stuffed peppadew, and stilton bites as canapes........or perhaps, if your tastes are more traditional, a delicious hot sausage roll made with local ingredients and coccooned in either unctious puff pastry or mellow traditional shortcrust......... perhaps a brie and sunblush tomato flan or a stilton and best bacon quiche? Mini pies and pastries as a naughty treat or for that kid's party, a delicious, home-made wholemeal pizza/mini pizzettes with toppings of your choice?
The choices are endless, special dietary arrangements catered for happily..... just come and have a chat!
